I am 44 years old and have raised my two daughters, but know I am raising my oldest daughters two children. There are days that I just think about throwing in the towel and giving them back. I know that is not ever going to happen because the courts have said she can never have them back. I am with them 24/7 I do not get to do anything for myself. I really need some advice on how to make this work. The children are 1 alittle girl and 2 a boy. I have had the boy since he was born and the little girl off and on from day one. I need me time and am not sure how to get it. I do not have a babysitter so that is out of the guestion. I NEED HELP!!!!

That is a hard question. I understand the whole me time. When my child was younger, My mom understood the me time,, she would watch my child so I could go out, even take a week vacation. I do have to say a few in my family helped me when I needed the me time.I don't know your whole situation, but maybe you can start with family or close friends. Not that I could do much more then give you moral support,,, I am here for you,, you live to damn far away to give physical support lol :-)

You dealing with alot...Try to just concentrate on the kids because they need you..My friend has a lot of medical problems and she is raising her grandchildren...Her concentrating on them helps her to not focus so much on her problems...I don't know if that's the right answer for you but this is what keeps her going....I hope this helped some...

I focus on them but I do not even get a break from them. I am with them 24/7. I have no me time at all. I can't even go to the bathroom by myself. I have no support from family or friends so this really stinks. I am thinking about moving to another state so that I can get the suppport I need. I can move to Colorado and get the support I need and the help I need. I have tried to get my daughter to help out more but she would rather spend her time partying.
